Hey Bleezking, I understand what you’re saying, but IMO it’s more than just bulbs. These light units range in price from around $200 to over $2,000; depending on application. Check out California Light Works or Black Dog LED. Both of these sites also have good information on grow lights in general and grow operations.

The grow lights are actually quite complex. The light needs to emit different bands of color at different times for the different types of growth. Example: blue end of the spectrum for vegetative growth and red end of the spectrum when flowering the plant. Of course, wattage and brilliance of the lights are also key to proper plant growth.

The mj and other plant grow operations have lighting requirements down to a science, and it’s still evolving. The light manufacturers must stay in step with the demands of growers. In the end it will be the growers who will inadvertently determine which grow light manufacturers remain relevant in their industry .

I was researching LED grow lights prior to finding EEGI; which I found by accident. I wanted stock in a grow light company and now I have some. What’s left to be determined is do we get a company like the two I mentioned or do we get one with great aspirations but with little to offer.

Let’s hope for the best

BTW, I gave you a follow
