I actually believe you. I believe most your stories, in fact. Though I would never rely on them. Just like I don't rely on anything anecdotal when seeking factual information.

Frankly, most docs do not understand LDL-C and LDL-P and what advantages advanced lipid panel testing can provide. They are over-burdened with cases and must get through them as best as possible. "LDL-C lowering = good," and that's good enough for them. But a patient's LDL-C may actually go down while their risk goes way up if LDL-P number goes up and LDL-P size goes down.

And LDL is not a cholesterol, btw...
