Holdup on P2/3 could be ongoing partnership discussions. I believe there were discussions with a potential Japanese partner in September.

I believe Missling will be meeting with these people in Japan again next week.

A Japanese partnership would be the best of all options. Probably Takeda, note that we have BOD connections with Takeda.

1) Anavex would gain a manufacturing partner.
2) A Japanese partner could be sold a nice block of stock to fund necessary trails and additional R&D.
3) A Japanese partner would have access to generous Japanese government funding for trials. Another 300 Japanese enrolled would be great.
4) The Japanese can be predatory, so the poison pill would be a most astute move prior to finalizing this deal.

We may not NEED Biogen if we got a good deal from a Japanese partner.
