The problem with this stock is the CEOs marketing ability.. I love the businesses, but these PRs are horrible... and its not because they lack info to share, its because of they dont make sense!

Imagine if you were learning about this company for the first time and read this...

Patronage at the current Snakes & Lattes locations continues to surge, which we expect to continue into the opening of the new 250 seat location at Yonge & Eglinton.

What is a Snakes & Lattes?!... Roger assumes that people know what he is talking about. Wouldn't it be wise to AT LEAST mention that its a board game cafe?!.. How about say something like "Snakes & Lattes, the most successful board game cafe chain, blah blah blah"... Something that explain it and hypes it up a bit. This is PR writing 101!

Next, what is a "Yonge & Eglinton"?... I know what it is because ive done the DD, but would a new investor understand that this is a district in Toronto? Having "Snakes & Lattes" and "Yonge & Eglinton" in the same sentence makes it SUPER confusing without adding more info

Now if that first line doesn't completely confuse and turn interest away, read it with the rest of the paragraph...

Snakes has recently become a top venue for film and television production which is helping develop the brand even further. The hit television show "Property Brothers" recently filmed at one of our Snakes & Lattes locations and the CTV mini-series "Cardinal" is also using the space for filming. Coinciding with the planned Snakes expansion, the added publicity and increased foot traffic is welcomed and will help drive awareness of the brand to ensure the third location is as busy as the existing locations when it opens for business.

Is Snakes a Film studio?!... If this was the first thing i read from this company i would know NOTHING about them from reading this paragraph. In a marketers world, this is a total fail

Also, why is there no "about Amfil" section at the bottom of the PR?! Not ONCE does this PR state what this company actually does! Are they a film company? A beer company? WTF?!

Why is Marijuana not mentioned anywhere? In an "About Amfil" section this should be a KEY WORD in EVERY PR, because it is the hottest topic!!!

I hope Roger hires an outside IR company to help him write future PRs... Its possible that 8 figures in market valuation has been wasted because of the poor story telling... I see pennies with crap business plans tell a better story than this and its reflected in their market valuation.

If anyone wants to know why this stock is worth less than their revenue and is unable to attract interest, this is NO DOUBT The issue here.

I read this last night and felt sick to my stomach that such a great story is being mutilated by poor storytelling... Roger is doing a good job running the company, but he should never waste another news event again. He needs to hire some experience, because everybody involved is being hurt by the poor execution.
