... but if I was really all that smart, I wouldn't be stuck here, would I?

5G is coming, so buying in when Pure Mobility was announced seemed like a good bet, but that was without really knowing whether as a company its efforts to establish itself were real. So far that hasn't panned out.

But again, 5G is coming (maybe ... if the owners of the parts of the broadcast spectrum that 5G will make use of will sell them for what the telecomms are willing to pay). There is an opportunity for streamed content providers. I noticed just yesterday that youtube announced its new youtube TV:

https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/03/06/google_youtube_tv_apple_response/

Given how much of a headstart youtube has, I wonder how EGOH can complete.

However, I did notice this: it will use an "app". Puredigital.tv is 'app-less'. Note what the above article said about the app and Apple:

>>YouTube may want to write an App for Apple devices, but then it would have to give away 30 per cent of its revenue to Apple.

While I have my doubts about EGOH/PDTV as a content provider, I can imagine it being an app-less technology provider (how could Apple block it, or claim revenue from it?). If they could partner with someone like youtube, it would be a home run. (And this is with suspending my disbelief that EGOH can really produce anything without any prior revenue or room in its A/S to acquire capital to produce real technology. But, the alpha release of their mobile technology does prove something exists.)
