Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that many people in agriculture use the term "cloning" rather than what they are actually doing which is simple"rooting" of the plant. No complicated true cloning going on just continuing the exact genetic material through rooting a small branch in water and easily available growth stimulating agricultural chemicals. Once the first "trees" are growing the company can get almost limitless cuttings to produce more of the same exact plant for expanded production.
