Wrong. You can google what happens to naked shorts when the symbol and number are changed. A full account for all shares must be made. So the naked shorting and MM manipulation must be all cleared up. Absolutely will cause a rise in price with this many shorters. Perhaps the stocks you were invested in did not have a heavy short volume and were not penny stocks?
