We really shouldn't be affected by Trumps noise regardless because the products aren't illegal, but I wouldn't be surprised to take collateral damage in the short term.

I personally think Trump could be doing this to push Congress to action, because unless you do some extreme they sit on their butts forever. Now he gives them total impetus to act and be the 'heroes' and nobody will be singled out so it won't impact their political careers.
