InterDigital Inc (IDCC)

This company/stock is interesting. Kind of like the straddle between capitalism and socialism. (Not trying to get political here!).

IDCC relying on Frand for the interest in establishing a good foundation for ALL (Mr. Spock from Star Trek would approve..."the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few").

IDCC also wants to make $ for its shareholders. And many capitalist companies (or "states" in the case of foreign governments) will cheat their way along as the courts and questionable ethics allow them to do so...

My guess is that there would be considerably more interest in the big boys buying out IDCC if it did not require them to be the former rather than the latter.
