May be some shareholders like MW bought shares after the filing of BK.That does not change their part of the company as the shares were issued and outstanding before the ch11.
Did n't JPM agree to pay around $55mm for TPS lawyers fee?.JPM agreed to pay the fee and TRUPS were transferred to WMI as per POR7 and sold by FDIC to JPM clear using GSA and POR7.

Logically this means, they avoided the case by paying the expenses and agreeing to pay the amounts related to TPS under settlements a day before settlement, but after the trading was stopped.
