I'm a little late to the discussion about Wellmetris, but I just wanted to add an observation about whether it was or could be a good investment for ZIVO.

Even at the time of the deal/acquisition, all the people who were involved in developing the technology had left. The product was and is real and the company was very close to going to market when Essex pulled the plug. It was a colossally dumb move, and they got left with a bunch of stuff they knew nothing about and no one to sort through it. So they sold it to HEPI for a bunch of shares, which cost HEPI approximately nothing. Nothing for nothing I guess.

The point being, HEPI/ZIVO paid essentially nothing for it, and has done pretty much nothing with it. Without the people, it's hard to get it going, wouldn't you say? Yet it does work and could be monetized, if, as Amigo keeps saying, they could find a partner.

Technology companies always come down to the people after all. We get jazzed up about the latest and greatest thing and often miss the obvious - they're people businesses. When you invest, that's what you are really buying. That being said, who wants to buy some shares in Andrew Dahl?
