not so i have etrade i have cash account not margin account. my bank account is linked and when i transfer i have immediate use of funds but it does depends on the value of your account. but no waiting for me. think of it this way if you try to cash a check at your bank written from a different bank if you dont have enough in your account to cover that check they will make you deposit it. i work at a bank and thats how it works. also if you have margin account that may be a reason as well
