I have never been to Richmond but sounds like a great place. Have you lived there all your life? What has amazed me is even the Yanks like myself that have moved here seem to open up more. I have had people here invite me into their homes like I was family where up North it seems they are worried that you might be casing the home, lol.

My wife and I both want to retire where we can have open land and privacy. I could be content to raise my own food and only go to town once a week. Of course I'd want satellite tv to stay up on events but would love to escape the rat race at some point.
