Additionally we use an import/export service to monitor what our competition is ocean shipping (no air data) primarily from Asia. We also review our shipments to see what our competition may be able to glean from our data. (Incidentally both our competition and us have moved production form Asia to Noth America-Mexico primarily in recent years. Make whatever political assumption you're prone to make depending on which side of fence-pun intended you're on)
Relative to Cognate and the "sample" bills of lading we've seen. The service, or moreover the package from the service we subscribe to, has a limited window of only being able to go back a month or so. There have been no recent Cognate shipments- data is usually delayed a week or more. Apparently the ability to go back years cost quite a bit more per month and we would not use that capability. For this cause I'll bite the bullet and sign up for full search capability which I believe goes back up to 10 years (about same cost as 1000 shares of NWBO). I may use a different service than the one we subscribe to as that will allow me to benchmark the different services. I'm sure the sample bills we've seen are real and like most of you I'm curious to find out what was on the other 9 or 10 shipments. I'll try to get the new subscription going today assuming I can do so without long term commitment.
