The customer is the one who choses the finish of the product, LiquidMetal gets that request and passes it on the mold maker. So it is the customers responsibility and expense in choosing what finish their product has. LiquidMetal can't choose the finish of a product without the customers consent.

Its obvious Dick Miltner didn't choose the expensive polished mold for a mirrored finish, nor did he choose a near mirror finish, so he has no right to complain about the finish, he got the mold he paid for.

Too this day no faulty Hybrids have been posted and why was Dick Miltner complaining about the finish on his Facebook when he was sending out these knives in sandwich bags ?

If Apple is looking for a jet black glossy mirrored magic finish, then you can bet they will spare no expense on the molds, no shortcuts with the molds leads to a superior product.
