Don't talk about or even mention any upgraded or new products until they are shipping.

I worked in Silicon Valley in a facility that was bought for pennies on the dollar from the bankruptcy court. The previous company pre-announced a revised and improved product to their limited product line... and then it was delayed. They had a warehouse full of the earlier model they couldn't sell, and zero sales for 90 days because everyone was WAITING to buy the revised product. The company had to BK.
