Today we saw what many probably figured to be a sour attitude slamming ALDW but I don't see it that way and nearly added. But I decided to wait as MLPs usually drop some following distributions.
My take is that we're seeing an unwinding of the past couple of days with their cumulative gains amounting to considerably more than justified by the 11 cent distribution now in the cards effective today. I'd like to think the investing community knows well that ALDW is worth more than $9.50-something.
Now, factor in CVRR's disappointing investors once more? I think there's going to be an exodus of biblical proportions as folks pile onto ALDW, leaving Mr. Icahn to roast in "the blaze." I find it incredibly interesting to note that little ALDW has managed to scrape together three consecutive distributions in contrast to CVRR's coming up flatter than a ten year old.
Which reminds me---my new pony may not be pregnant after all. Too bad as I was expecting a junior miracle. And no, I wouldn't be the father.
