You can actually apply this anywhere. I visited the company in Frederick, MD and got some free samples. My wife rolled her ankle which she does often and normally feels soreness for several days afterwards. I put it on her ankle for 3-4 hours and she couldn't tell she did anything. Later on she had back pain keeping her from standing, probably caused by her botched epidural. I put it over the area and she could move again... It has an on and off switch so it can be used over and over. I am retired military caused by back/neck/shoulder injuries so I use it for that. I don't need any pain medications because of this product! Anyone who rates this less than 5 stars hasn't really tried it.
