Well, I missed the boat this morning on the low of the day but you know something? I'm very happy to have the position I do have. It's sizable, shows a cost basis of $8.77 and as I look out over the stockscape, I see an open range just chock full of opportunity to grow youngin's, come Spring.

Today is the beginning of the final assault---not so much (I think) to capture the distribution opportunity that closes at the end of tomorrow's trading session, but something else.

An experienced stock trader will know that ALDW is preparing to uncoil. We're not talking about eleven cents as that's really not enough to write home about, or is it?---

"Hey, Mom, there's this stock going to pay eleven cents and the door shuts late tomorrow. No, wait, Ma--- I know nothing is ever a sure thing but this is different. How?

Well, here's the poop, girl: Y'know how we don't hardly go nowhere until there's no threat of snow after the bad part of Winter? Well, turns out this company makes the stuff they repair roads with---they call it ass-fault, I think. Well, anyway, they sell a lot of gas, too, and bein' as people is about to get back to driving because there won't be no snow and it's gettin' all fresh and purty outside, the company is sure as heck gonna come back to life too, just like those Lilies of the Valley you love so much, Ma.

Yeah, Ma---they make the gasoline folks use in their cars and trucks! The more gas they sell, the more moolah there is to be divided up among us owners of their stock.

Remember I told you that Dad and I bought some shares in a company called Alon? Well, this is the company we been talkin' about. It's climbin' right now because everybody wants to get on the bandwagon to grab some of the money they're fixin' to hand out to folks like us. But mostly I figure they know this is the last opportunity for them to grab shares while they are in their Winter doldrums.

So we've got to drag out Pa's ol' trumpet, you bring the drum (leave the dol- in the attic) and I'll get the violin hiding under my bed and we'll strike up the band in front of the house tomorrow to help our neighbors unnerstan' there's good money to be made here...and this is probably the last chance to buy shares under $10. Yeah, Ma---I know it's not the eleven cents motivatin' everybody---because the stock is up 31 cents now! That's a long ways from 11 cents! And there's a full day yet to happen before the opportunity to participate in the distribution closes for three months.

OK, now, Ma? You with us? Ohh, smart girl you are---OK, I'll buy some more shares---just for you on Valentine's Day.

I love you, too, Mom."
