good stuff, great stories. can't say i've ever run into any MLB players, since i entered adulthood. however, growing-up in FL, i've pictures of myself with a few hall of famers. couple guys named bob gibson and lou brock, (when the cardinals trained in saint petersburg) as well as al kaline. i should ask my mother for them, get them digitized - and share.
did have the opportunity to meet doug williams, (huge hands) of buccaneer and redskin fame - as well as rodney marsh from the NASL's tampa bay rowdies. anyway, back to baseball. giants staked schmidt to a 4-1 lead this afternoon, (game in progress) but he somehow managed to let the snakes tie the game. check later, regards.....
