I owned 5000 shares the day Idc lost the Motorola case. I followed the stock down buying small quantities and then I bought 5000 shares at $3 1/8. I have bought and sold many times since then but I have never since been out of the stock completely. To the contrary increased my core position every time the price collapsed.
All those times Idcc lost cases and the price collapsed I bought stock. So over the years I accumulated
A very very large number of shares. Further more I had for a long time now stop all selling. And then the price climbed above $90/ share and I have sold 8,000 shares between $ 94.00 and $ 97.00

My position is that Idcc has still a fantastic potential even from these levels though volatility is to be expected.
The issue with me, as I imagine it is for many of the old timers who were there with me from those times and even before, that I have reached and passed the age of retirement and the age brought some health issues with it!!!
Idcc has made me many millions and my family wants me to give in and sell Idcc. I, on the other hand, see it as a cash cow in the near future. The dividends are sure to increase and the appreciation should be substantial.
What is a stubborn old man to do????
And is there life after one sells Idcc???
