Last week Dr. Weller gave a talk at MD Anderson titled: Immunotherapy for Glioblastoma: Hypes and Hopes

"Hypes and Hopes"? Hmmm, wonder what he might be referring to.

Dr. Weller is the Director of the Brain Tumor Center of the University of Zurich, and Chair of the European Organisation For Research And Treatment Of Cancer (EORTC) Brain Tumor Group.

He is a heavy hitter in GBM research.

Unfortunately his recent talk wasn't online. But you know these folks often repeat themselves (how many times now have we heard the "Tale of Two Tumors" from Liau?)

In any event, he did offer a talk late this summer about immunotherapy in GBM. Interesting presentation with the added bonus of his perspective of the DCVax trial. Indeed, when talking about the likely results, he says: "I think that's very clear".
