Thanks Sputnik, I learned from your post as well. I like your idea of something sent to shareholders, but I don't see it happening. Unless some action, like a sale, needs more than a simple majority vote, a proxy mailing would be an empty jesture as Fan has 53% of the stock to vote. I also don't think they will spend the $ on printing and postage unless they MUST have more than a simple majority. Obion MIGHT be willing ot finance the proxy mailing if they need it to close the deal, but who knows?
I think the simple fact is, they are out of money. If I were in the driver's seat and had ANY money to spend, it would be to recover some assets from Olsen & Co. like the cars and vans the company seems to have paid for, but without the titles in their hands. That money could be used for a forensic audit to try to recover more.
