You are absolutely correct. With the uncertainty in the fuel cell market, the battery discovery may very well save this company and make it very profitable in the near future. For all of the complaining that took place (myself included) at the time of the batteries announcement, we should be thanking the Dr. for the foresight to move Neah in this direction. This technology will instill much needed confidence in the company, if and when they start to disclose the details.
