Spin disc is a great tool, unfortunately due to the invasive ness of taking a blood sample by a police officer, but more importantly - the inability to detect how recently these drugs may have been consumed. Since marijuana can stay in your system for weeks, this will not accurately test impairment at time of test.

There has been a company called secure tech, which has been manufacturing a roadside saliva test for cannabis and cocain for years.... It hasn't revolutionized testing for impaired driving, so I doubt the Spin Disc technology will either.

As I said before, I hope Lifeloc has not abandoned the marijuana breathalyzer for this technology. I'm still searching for a patent from Lifeloc for roadside cannabis breathalyzer, but still zero results from my search. Cannabix has a patent, maybe that's why it's demanding such a high market cap, with no revenue....?

The SpinDx test will be great for hospitals and doctors offices for its rapid results of over 64 Assays, but don't expect this to be used as a test to distinguish impaired driving. It won't - and would never stand up in court, therefore make it worthless as a tool for police forces. It is also a very cheap test, so revenue derived from SpinDx testing will be minimal - having little impact on Lifelocs bottom line.

We need a breathalyzer that can detect recent use with defined parameters for impairment. It's coming, but will Lifeloc be the one who brings it ? Lets hope so.... May take some time.
