As a woodworker I totally can relate to that story. I bought an old sideboard at a garage sale for $75.00 and brought it home to refinish. Wife said that junk will never go in our dining room. After weeks of working on it and restoring it I got an offer of $500.00 for it. The wife said no way, that's going in the dining room, it's beautiful. She gets on me for putting our IRA money into penny stocks. I hope someday I'll tell her I'm selling SGBY and she says no way we are keeping that one.
