Did this originate with Seymour himself, or rather from apologists who are making up imaginary excuses for why NNVC has never published anything about their "greatest discovery since penicillin" in the peer reviewed primary scientific literature?

"Private" emails from Seymour that were posted on the internet suggest he has the exact opposite point of view, at least up through 08/14:

He/She neglects to mention one very important fact…that we do NONE of the animal nor laboratory research. Also of that work is done by third parties such as the Southern Research Institute; USAMRIID; University of California, Berkeley; NE Ohio University College of Medicine and others. They send the data to us, we distill the information into a press release, return it to the researcher who approves/edits it and then it’s in turn sent to the University Press office for final vetting prior to release. So much for the accusation that we make things up.

Our role is to create the drug. From that point on, it’s out of our hands!

Sort of difficult to make anything up in that very comprehensive checks and balance system

USAMRIID presented THEIR data on EbolaCide to two international conferences and have a paper being prepared for publishing in a major medical journal. That should lay to rest the issue about no peer-reviewed publications
