walknmanny... Here is how I restore my Windows 7 machine:
1)Click "Start" and in the ahaded area find & click "Control Panel"
2)When CP menu appears (in upper left corner, click "Back-up & Restore". When new window appears, at bottom, click "Recover system Settings on your Computer".
3) When next windows appears, click on "Open system Restore".
4)nest, window will be "Restore System Files and Settings". Click "Next".
Restore points will appear. And if you want more points, click little box -bottom left of page and a bunch of points should apear.
4) Choose the one you prefer, "click it" then "Next".

Next window will tell you to "Confirm your Rstore Point".
Don't worry, nothing will be carried out until step 5 has been
has been accomplished.
5) And if you want to do it, Click "Finish"

And the computer should install the restore point that you have
chosen.

Good Luck.
