Basic industrial engineering, manufacturing lay-out experience, and plain common sense dictates that, at a minimum, one would allow about ten foot aisles with the current building. I did not see any provision for overhead cranes in the real estate specs for this building. So transporting input and output probably will be done by pallets and boxes on forklift.

On a grid basis, then, assuming aisles of 8 to ten feet width,
Half of the floor space is going to be dedicated to aisles for mobility.

I would suggest that the length of the manufacturing area...about 160 feet with a 8 to ten foot wide aisle would consume 1280-1600 sq ft per length wise aisle x 5 aisles or This would be 6400-8000 sq feet. Of course the cross depth aisles would have a length of 125 linear feet x 8-10 ft width per aisle x 5 aisles = 5000-6250. Thus the total aisle space is going to be pretty close to about 11400 to 14250 sq feet.

So the actual total dedicated "footprint of each workstation" would be about 5750 to 8600 sq ft

This allows about 23 to 34 machines, assuming a total footprint area of about 250 sq ft per machine.

To also be added are so many Mori machines to handle the degating-despruing processes. So, I think the range of machines possible is about 25 to 35 per 20000 sq ft manufacturing area.

Of course, if my foot print estimate of 250 sq ft per machine and all accessories needed at each workstation are off, then I welcome any rectifying input. Ditto for the aisle space calculation.

Finally, I am clueless as to the Eontec die cast machine footprint. But I assure you that it will be at least 50 to 100 percent greater than that for the E-100 injection molding machine.

The other variable, using overhead cranes, could reduce the aisle space square footage. Time will tell.

Perhaps Lugee will let shareholders see the "new and improved" iteration of the "Center of Excellence". Who knows.
