SPIN--re: EMBASSY OS, Legal Monopoly and Ubiquity. First, I'd like to say that you do me honor with that post. Most of the time I think I'm just shouting into the wind. It is infrequent on these boards that anyone discusses explicitly, as you have, that EMBASSY "ubiquity" is essentially nonsensical unless WAVE achieves a "legal monopoly" via the "Embassy OS."

If you look closely it is easy to observe that the gleam in S. Sprague's eye derives from the EMBASSY OS. Without critical mass of registered users to the EMBASSY OS, there is NO ubiquity and NO interoperability. Without the EMBASSY OS, the competition will, in time, swarm all over WAVE, and force WAVE back to its pre 10/98 days of being first and foremost a Meter/applet company. But WAVE is too far along the trusted path to make that scenario very possible. WAVE had very, very good reasons to remain very, very, very, very STEALTHY!!!! Critical mass is about to happen; and competitors running after WAVE do so at their own peril. Once WAVE turns on the EMBASSY OS switch, ALL aspiring competition will be electrocuted in their tracks! Or something like that. lol!

Looking forward to sharing a few frosty drinks with ya in Las Vegas! And I'm going to print out a few of our very entertaining RB exchanges from the very distant past for some
great knee-slapping laughs!!!!!
