I'm also glad they put out a PR but the cynic in me ( based on my experience of management ) thinks they have put out a very honest PR that was designed to get a negative response from everyone just so as to justify why they never PR normally....as people say they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. Mgt play up on the fact they get attacked...I cannot think of any other credible reason why the Christmas holidays and flu are considered an acceptable reason to delay promised updates if it's not about giving them more time for that update without having to further communicate anything to anyone in between because they get attacked.
Quite brilliant you might say....of course I'm being cynical here!
