I might have heard something about those way of holding to patent protection yet the Real McCoy is Anavex Plus patent. Do you remember the illustrations documenting alleged synergy between A2-73 and DZP in mice at almost below therapeutic threshold doses showing 80% improvement in cognitive skills? I would not be surprised if there is some synergy at residual doses of DZP as it works by blocking enzyme breaking up neurotransmitter involved in synaptic memory. Every little thing helps. From this board, some people viewed correspondence between patent office and Anavex stating that USPTO thought that it was obvious to use both in a combo so no new art, which might be a potential reason for denial. If Anavex proves to them the none obvious aspect of the combo and they accept it then we get the best way to go about it. And I believe we might be on our way here yet I might be wrong and there is no synergy at all if not negative synergy.
