In a lot of cases they mention in the objection, the jurisdiction doesn't even matter. Many of the cases in the objection show that the equity holders aren't even able to bring that cause of action.

They also show that all the stock sales were legal and there was no insider trading.

The equity committee threw a lot of things out there that they aren't the ones who would be allowed to take action on in any court - it would either be the company, the former CEO, etc.

There's no real case left, it looks like the judge won't have any reason to grant the equity committee's motion.
