There is a lot of hope here. We just can hope that after one month, the EC is similar well prepared for the friday hearing.
All should remember that the EC has put together the initial document in very short time, in order to create a motion, while the Platinum lawyer had now about 3 weeks to answer it - so it is natural, that the answer of her is more well thought, but the level of detail is not a strong indicator for platinum to win this.
The unsettling thing in the answer of the Platinum lawyer is, that she points out that the EC assumed the wrong jurisdiction.
So either the EC has a good case, why the laws they cite still apply or every legal argument of them is void - and they need to come up something comparable which applies for NY jurisdiction in the hearing.
Doesn't look good.
