What's going on with the company? It's losing a lot of money: $1.33 a share. In any case, if it's a cash dividend, shorts will have to pay the dividend to the owners of the shares they borrowed.

Or they can cover before the divvy is paid. That might provoke a squeeze, but I don't know when the dividend was announced, and so how much time they've had to cover already.

But given the company's apparently enormous losses, what do they plan to use to pay this dividend?
