I've done well, and actually made a profit on Ocata. Nowhere near what I would have liked to do, but I had large buys at very low prices, at half the buyout price. So that compensated for earlier, smaller buys at higher prices.

Loved that CPXX. Same sort of stuff here. As for Ocata, they were far from Phase III, and dealing with the same kinds of short attacks. You seem to be awfully familiar with it. Please don't tell me you were a "long" in Ocata and lost. We had lots of famous shorts, and of course AF was always encouraging them, though he seemed less focused on it than here. I think his activity was mostly tweets there. Ocata had it's own version of Phase V, using the name Mako.

As for Ocata "turning into nothing but loss and heartache", that's not really the reality. They were bought out, by a large Japanese biopharmaceutical company, after shorts ran the price down, using a Japanese word that also references a type of "Shark" in English: Mako.

All longs were pretty sure they knew it was coordinated. Watching other action in other companies over time, I've come to the same conclusion that was obvious then. There is a clear M.O. to the shorts who spend all of their time running these companies down and trying to keep them down.

I appreciate a good game of chicken. There are lots more positive indicators here, by the way, and closer major events than Ocata. I'd argue, this is much closer to CPXX, except that CPXX was a narrower opportunity, and this one will, in the long-run, have much larger potential and a much higher buyout potential upon approval. Even if they are pending further confirmations, I think the long-term has excellent prospects here. I have plenty of stocks that I follow, with similar prospects, and substantial investment. I just enjoy these little conversations the most.
