My Experience with Linda Powers and Northwest Bio:

It was spring '13 when I graduated college in RI and returned to Maine where I grew up. At the time, a close friend of mine had landed a property management gig out in West Bath, Maine. He communicated with the owner primarily through email, as she was very busy and only visited once or twice each summer. In fact, I don't think she has visited since 2014. As you might have guessed, the owner is Linda Powers.

My friend invited me to dinner with Linda and one of her advisors, and it was then that I learned about Linda's career and what her company was pursuing. She patiently articulated to us the basics of immunotherapy, about how their approach was personalized, and what shocked me most was when she said confidently: "in 5-10 years the entire landscape of cancer treatment will be based around immunotherapy."

Needless to say, I spent countless hours after that dinner researching immunotherapy and NWBO. I learned what a large stake in NWBO Linda had, and how multiple family members of hers had passed away due to cancer. The fact that she is dedicating the remaining years of her already distinguished professional career to this company exemplifies her passion for this research, with her motives being the farthest thing from monetary. This will be her legacy.

I began investing in NWBO in the fall of '13 around $3/sh, bought more a year later around $4.5, rode the Woodford wave up and then the Phase V wave back down, without selling anything. I read every single AF smear article, and was absolutely disgusted when I learned about coordinated short attacks and what big pharma is capable of doing to companies with disruptive therapies. I researched DNDN, and do not blame Linda or management for their silence for the past year plus.

They, like us, are waiting for results. I do believe L will significantly prolong survival in patients (with no side effects), and also hope that this drug when combined with CI will actually prove to be a cure. While the current manipulated share price has been unfortunate for the company's recent cash raises, I have gained confidence that even in these darkest of days Linda has found a way to keep the company operating. She will not let it fail. Take advantage of these current prices while they last. I was fortunate enough to be able to quadruple my position in the $.40's, but have not bought again since the move to OTC.

I am writing to express gratitude to other longs who have endured this roller coaster ride with me. To those who remained optimistic and provided excellent DD. You have kept me going at times and I know first hand some of you are very real, normal, passionate people.

The next couple weeks/months will be very telling and exciting for the company. I know I speak for many other silent investors and watchers of this board when I say thank you to committed longs here for your continued DD-- MD, RK, Senti, TC, and many others.

Do not invest more than you are comfortable losing. I believe in Linda Powers, Linda Liau, and in NWBO. Good luck to all longs.

-Mike
