Seriously, why is it so hard to have affordable healthcare?

Ok, I'm Canadian (and not an enemy) you probably have heard of our free healthcare up here :) do you want to know how we and most other civilized countries manage to have free healthcare?

It's not rocket science. We tax the shit out of tobacco and alcohol that's how. ask yourself, would you rather lose your house because of a family illness or pay a few bucks more for cigs or beer and know your family is looked after?

Know wonder we Canadians think Americans are dumb as paint when they can't even figure out stupid things like free healthcare and gun laws to save lives.
