market cannot predict with absolute certainty, at what price a stock will close at. One can do trend analysis, but even the most sophisticated of market players would refrain from "sticking their necks out" and state publicly the price that any stock will trade at the next day.
Indeed, an expert of the market realizes there are just too many unknown variables that can effect a stocks price on a daily basis. Thus, the only thing a sophisticated market player who wishes to keep his credibility, should state, is that the markets price will fluctuate for the next trading day.
