Yes, some need to hang onto their dreams and contrary to their own DD or other's DD and the facts, they will make excuses or rather continue drinking the Koolaid. They lead themselves to believe, because otherwise their dream is destroyed. It is all about emotion and not facts and logic when that happens, and that is why the Spin Doctor Bruce is able to continue selling his story. That is drinking the Koolaid! DD is when you can find facts and point others to those facts to support your conclusions whether positive or negative.
