1000 ppm for lead? Holy shit! Perhaps they think nobody who understands what that really means will ever consider buying their product.

To put that in perspective, 10,000 ppm is one percent lead. I am not even sure you can dissolve 1,000 ppm in water, at normal pH. Maybe in acidic water you can (like what you will find in your car battery).
