In strict compliance with SEC requirements, the 10-Q must be filed by the end of the 5th calendar day following the original filing deadline. So you are correct in your statement.
That said, I have followed a lot of companies over the years that routinely file NT 10Qs and in virtually every case, if the requirement date falls on a weekend, they've waited until Monday (and usually AH) to file. The requirement is never enforced by the SEC with any penalties in such cases. You really have to go beyond that date before the SEC or the stock exchange on which the listing exists will even wake up to a problem.
