shortterm - I have always had a problem with being early. I seldom have a losing position but I reduce my profits. I think the reason it is a problem for me is that I know what the market is going to do and I lack the patience to wait till it begins. I jump the gun. Some traders hesitate, and then, afraid they will miss it all, enter too late after a move is over. I think this is worse. If you are early at least the market will usually catch up and bail you out.
You do not really have to worry about missing a trade. Another one will show up immediately. Patience is the need of the early bird and the Johnny come lately.
