Two offsetting decisions need to be settled quickly

Tuesday's ruling was a 2-1 decision.

In the Aug, 2016 ruling, Judges Rogers, Pillard and Wilkins voted 3-0 that Elliot and the other four in-house judges held their offices legally under the U.S. Constitution.

Because the two Appeals Courts are in opposition, the new administration will want to see this decided quickly, one way or the other.
