Realmoneysc...The points you made are legitimate, However... Have you heard the phrase "Buy the rumors sell the news?" That works for good news, Well that works in reverse also when bad news is projected such as lawsuits and delistings, You still want to "Buy the rumors and sell the news".

With GTE the rumors of lawsuits and delisting have obviously been reflected in the huge drop of pps in the last month and a half. So what I am saying is the delisting possibility and potential law suits have alread been priced into the GTE pps.

I am strictly a chartist, I only trade stocks based on current conditions of a chart. I am not saying right now that the charts are indicating that GTE is starting a new up trend yet. I need confimation from next weeks trading, but what the charts are telling me right now is that the chance of GTE starting a new up trend is more than likely to occure as oppsed to further drops in sp. This tells me that all the bad news has already been absorbed by the sp.

This is also proven by a 10 Q that was very weak, the sp did not drop as much as I thought it would, and throw in a new attack by Motley fool yesterday yet the sp closed up, definately tells me that the "Bad news" is already priced in.

Delisting or not, the current chart tells me that the current 8 month downtrend, has a stong possibility of being reversed. As I stated previously, I need a close next Friday above todays close to confirm that.

When it comes to TA, Patients is not only a virtue, butcan be very profitable.
