My State's Senator Susan Collins (R) is a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee mentioned in your post. Rest assured, I made her office aware of the SFOR Mobile Trust solution to Lt/Gen Ben Hodges mobile device COMSEC problem when I briefed her field staff. They could promise me nothing but at least they up-channeled the info to her. Also, when my State's other Senator's (Angus King (I) member of Senate select sub-committee on intelligence) policy guy in D.C. called me I arranged a phone call with our CEO Mark Kay. No, I wasn't in on a conference call so I don't know any details. All I was told by Senator King's office later was that the Maine delegation was preparing a joint response to this matter of National security that I had brought to their attention as a retired Air Force intelligence officer.
Like you I believe Mobile Trust is the best mousetrap out there.
It all depends if the DOD/CIO's office thinks likewise whether or not SFOR gets some of those funds. Your guess is as good as mine!
But at least ACS got the chance at bat to sell SFOR's product to the Pentagon. They at least,(by law, due to the SBA initiated legislation to give small businesses a chance to compete for DOD dollars) have to consider Strike Force Technologies.
