It's expensive to operate a public company. There are annual fees with OTC Markets, Transfer Agent fees, and filing fees if SEC reporting, etc. Having said that, if a company has no business case it should report that to shareholders and shut down.

I would be happy owning part of a chocolatier, but I am not going to stick cash into a company that won't tell me as a part owner how my investment is doing once a Quarter.

My Big Board stocks have done really well, and the OTC Markets are trades and sometimes a lot less than trades (GNGR being a lot less than a trade).
