Triple play is cable, internet and landline phone service. I had the triple play five years ago when AT&T did all three. It's only catching on now because they lowered the price to $99/month. I think Comcast and Time Warner are both bidding on wireless spectrum as we speak. Echostar/DirectTV dropped out of the bidding. I think the only spectrum they got was in Alaska, I hope the Alaskans enjoy the service. They are supposedly trying to work out a deal with a wireless company.
