olddog967, I guess that answers my question.

The license is not fully "paid up" if IDCC should receive about $16.6
million in quarterly recurring revenue. Too bad that it's unknown.
However, I bet that IDCC is confident enough to put that into their
longer term goal of recurring revenue of about $500 million not
including 5G (still about three to four years off I guess) and IoT -
at least that's the way that I understand it.
