Thought I'd throw this out there, that's all; means nothing more than what you want to make it mean.

Over the last year and a half, I have been corresponding with some people very close to the Anavex trial; some of the correspondence I have shared, for example, that of the PI, Stephen Macfarlane, others I have not. Yesterday I asked one of those others why Anavex is not being taken seriously by KOLs, BP, et.al., and his response was the following:

"Good question, K--!

"There are a lot of vested interests in the fight against AD. I'm unsure to what extent big pharma funds the Alzheimer's Association, for example.....

"Hopefully all doubt can be resolved with a successful Phase II/III."

Nothing insightful, to be sure, but for someone so close to the data, it might shed a little light on how this fledgling biotech sees itself as seen by others.
